1st Polish-Russian Festival ‘Magic of the North’

Last Friday (26th November), the 1st Polish-Russian Festival ‘Magic of the North’ took place. Among many invited guests, there were: Mr Sergey Semenov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Poland and Mr Leszek Buller, Director of the Center for European Projects. The grand opening of the warehouse building in Olsztynek

On Wednesday, (24th November, 2021) the grand opening of the warehouse building with its museum collection took place in Olsztynek. Among the invited guests there were: representatives of the Managing Authority and the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020, local and regional government and museologists. During the event, the ribbon cutting ceremony was held. Moreover, a foundation act (document containing all information about the object) was signed and submitted to a copper. The ceremony was graced with a concert of the Babsztyl band. At the end of the event, there was a tour around the warehouse, during which the guests were presented with modern shelving systems for storing museum items

Double opening at the museum. Elbląg of pre-war and post-war times on joined exhibitions

On the 5th of November (Friday) at 6 p.m. the Museum of Archaeology and History in Elbląg will hold a unique double opening of new exhibitions. After a long break, in a refreshed setting and on a slightly limited area, the exhibition “Testimonies. History in faces – faces of history” will have its comeback. It will also be the first chance to see an exhibition titled “ City of new people. Elbląg in the first post-war decade 1945 – 1955” being a chronological follow-up to “Testimonies”
