The new edition of RegioStars 2019 has started! 2019-02-28, Category: Programme news

The contest organised by the European Commission RegioStars 2019 has just started. If your project received co-financing from the European Union, it is innovative and demonstrates new approaches in regional development – this competition is for you!

Projects can be submitted in one of five thematic categories: promoting digital transformation, connecting the green, blue and gray infrastructure, combatting inequalities and poverty, building climate-resilient cities, modernising health services (Topic of the year 2019).

Applications may be submitted by project managers, with the endorsement of the Managing Authority. Only five projects can be submitted per one programme in each category, which started after 1^st January 2007.

The award ceremony will take place in October 2019 in Brussels during a gala during the European Week of Regions and Cities.
