Three new grant contracts are signed! 2019-09-09, Category: Programme news

We would like to inform that three grant contracts for co-financing of regular projects have been signed recently.

The project "Baltic Odyssey – creation of common historical and cultural area" will be implemented by the Administration of Zelenogradsk town district authority in cooperation with the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in Kalinigrad, the Scientific Association „Pruthenia”, Kaliningrad public organization "Historical Reconstruction Center" Kaup ", Municipality of Olsztyn and the Museum of Archaeology and History in Elbląg. The planned activities include among others the development of a mobile application, containing precise description of routes and historical places. The beneficiaries also plan to conduct international archaeological researches and excavations. The total value of the project is 733 675.25 EUR, whereas the Programme co-financing is equal to 660 306.85 EUR.

Another grant contract for co-financing was signed for the project entitled "Connected by amber. Joint actions to share the amber heritage ". The project will be implemented by two partners –Gdańsk Museum (lead beneficiary) and the World Ocean Museum in Kaliningrad. The activities include creation of a permanent exhibition at the Great Mill in Gdańsk including the purchase of equipment and exhibits. On the Russian side, construction works are planned in the museum and the transformation of garages into new storage. The total budget of the project is EUR 2 293 426.24, of which the co-financing value is EUR 2 064 083.61.

The last grant contract was signed for the implementation of the project "15 seconds of history through the eyes of young people. Castles, barracks and legends. " The project will be implemented by the Olecko District in cooperation with the Oziersk Technical School of Environmental Engineering. The activities include the renovation of the historic castle in Olecko as well as development of the area and buildings of the former barracks in Oziersk. The total value of the project is 761 197,57 euro, whereas the Programme co-financing is equal to 685 077,72 euro.
