POLAND-RUSSIA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020
The beneficiaries of the project ‘Museums over the borders’ co-financed by the Lithuania-Poland-Russia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 and continued in the Poland-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020 have decided to actively participate in this year's edition of the Open Days of European Funds.
Participants of the event will have an opportunity to watch the movie ‘Testimonies’, which can be found under the link: https://dniotwarte.eu/przyklady-projektow/swiadectwa-twarze-historii. ‘Faces of history’ is a document showing Elbląg through the eyes of former inhabitants of German nationality, who spent their childhood in this city, but the storms of World War II forced them to leave their homeland for good. The movie contains memories of Elbląg in the 1930s and 1940s seen through the eyes of children. The former residents of Elbląg also analyze the changes that have been implemented in the city over the years.
The film is shown on a daily basis at the Museum of Archaeology and History in Elbląg, where you can also visit the ‘Testimonies’ exhibition, which is the background to the interviews presented in the production. We invite you to read the history of Elbląg!
At the same time, we invite you to take part in all events during the Open Days of European Funds and to participate in the competitions:
Competition – ‘Closer than you think’!
It is open to everyone. Just look around and record a short movie presenting the effects of the EU grants in your area. Attractive prizes await the authors of the best movies.
Competition – ‘Show us your project’
It is addressed to the beneficiaries of the European Funds. As part of the competition, you have to send a video promoting the achievements of the implemented activities. The competition offers attractive prizes, professional film recording and extensive promotion.
