POLAND-RUSSIA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020
On the 11th of September 2021, the bike ride took place. It was organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 together with the Branch Office in Kaliningrad in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the European Cooperation Day.
On this occasion, participants of the ride traveled 20 km on a cycle path that is being constructed within the Large Infrastructure Project "CBCycle: Cross-border cycle routes for promotion and sustainable use of cultural heritage".
Along the route, the participants were accompanied by fantastic weather and good mood. At the end of the ride bikers were awarded with commemorative presents. The event was finished with barbecue and guitar songs.
A total of 60 cyclists took part in the celebration of the EC Day, including representatives of the Government of Kaliningrad region, municipal officials, project beneficiaries, as well as cycling enthusiasts.
