A complete set of amber chess, purchased within the project ‘Connected by amber. Joint actions to share the amber heritage’, dating at the 17th century and attributed to one of the most famous Gdańsk amber makers, Michael Redlin, was listed by the Apollo magazine among the most important museum acquisitions of 2021 in the world!
The Amber Museum is included in the list together with prestigious museums, such as the Museum at Versailles, Borghese Gallery, Rijksmuseum or the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
