POLAND-RUSSIA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020
Yesterday (October 25, 2022) a conference summarising the project PR/1/007/2018, co-financed by the European Union, under the European Neighbourhood Instrument, was held in Hartowiec.
Many guests participated in the meeting, including Ms Bogusława Orzechowska – Senator of the Republic of Poland, Ms Elżbieta Gelert – Member of Parliament of the Republic of Poland, Ms Tomasz Węgrzynowski – Head of the Rybno Commune, Ms Lidia Wójtowicz – Director of the Department of Regional Policy in the Office of the Marshal of the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship as well as representatives of the Joint Technical Secretariat.
During the meeting, the implementation of the project was summarised, including information on the extension of the sanitary sewage system in the Rybno Commune to the villages of Dębień and Hartowiec. A representative of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn presented the results of research on the composting of sewage sediment. Participants also had the opportunity to listen to two interesting speeches on the optimisation of water consumption and waste segregation.
