Additional funds granted to the Polish beneficiaries 2023-03-10, Category: Programme news

Please be informed that on the 10th of March 2023 the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Programme decided to grant additional funds to the Polish beneficiaries of the Programme.

In accordance with the decision of the JMC, the EU funds, which were unpaid or will be recovered from the Russian beneficiaries based on Regulation (EU) 2022/2192 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 November 2022 laying down specific provisions for the 2014-2020 cooperation programmes supported by the European Neighbourhood Instrument and under the European territorial cooperation goal, following programme implementation disruption, will be granted to the Polish beneficiaries have been implementing the projects within our Programme.

The maximum value of the EU funds that will be granted to the Polish beneficiaries of the Programme is 8.7 MEUR.

The JMC made a decision on the division of the EU funds (available to download under the information) is based on the results of the surveys conducted by the Joint Technical Secretariat. The surveys were aimed at examining the Polish beneficiaries’ interest in obtaining additional funding for:

1) increasing the budgets of the Polish beneficiaries of the projects, aimed at counteracting the migration crisis,

2) additional activities in line with the indicators of the current projects (or other Programme indicators from the thematic objective), as well as increasing the financing of present activities for which the planned funds were not sufficient.
