On 17-18 October, the meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Poland-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020 took place in Worliny (Poland). The main purpose of this meeting was an approval of the projects submitted within the 1st Call for Proposals in thematic objectives: “Environment” and “Accessibility”.

The Lead Beneficiaries of all the 12 projects selected for co-financing by the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Poland-Russia Cross-border Programme 2014-2020 under TO “Heritage” have signed the Grant Contracts with the Managing Authority of the Programme. Total value of the signed contracts amounts to 14.706.972,00 EUR, out of which the Programme co-financing states 13.235.153,81 EUR.

On 1-2 October 2019, a Polish-Russian conference "International cooperation – necessity and opportunity" took place in Gołdap. The meeting was attended by representatives of the local governments, non-governmental organisations, journalists, diplomats, as well as foresters and policemen from Poland and Russia.

On the 20th and 21st of September 2019, a cross-border bike ride took place. It was organised by the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 together with the Association of Active Tourism Center ‘KOŁODROM’. In this way, the Poland-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 joined the celebration of this year’s 8th edition of the European Cooperation Day (ECDay). The main objective of the bike ride was to present the achievements of European regions and countries cooperating beyond national borders. The events related to the celebration of ECDay were organised as a part of programmes of territorial cooperation in over 30 countries.

On 11-14 September 2019, the 17th Polish Sociological Congress was held in Wrocław, under the theme: “Me, Us, Them? Subjectivity, Identity, Belonging”.

We would like to inform that three grant contracts for co-financing of regular projects have been signed recently.

On 3-5 September 2019, the 29th Economic Forum was held in Krynica-Zdrój. About 4 thousand participants from all over the world took part in the event ‘Europe of Tomorrow. ‘Strong’ Meaning What?‘

On Wednesday, another grant contract for co-financing of a regular project 'Development of cross-border tourism in Szczytno District and Svetlogorsk City District' in the thematic objective 'heritage' has been signed.

We would like to inform that on 16th of August 2019 the office of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 will be closed.

Today, another grant contract for co-financing of a regular project „Together – cultural cooperation in the Polish-Russian borderland” in the thematic objective "heritage" has been signed.
